Up against third-ranked BYU (14-2, 8-1 MPSF), No. 8 Stanford men’s volleyball (9-7, 6-5) struggled to deliver offensively in back-to-back matches, falling 0-3 on Thursday before dropping Friday’s match 1-3 at home.
Coming off an upset loss against unranked USC, No. 6 Stanford men’s volleyball (9-5, 6-3 MPSF) rebounded to defeat Cal Baptist (3-11, 1-9) on Saturday by a final score of 25-20, 20-25, 17-25, 25-16, 15-11. This was Stanford’s third five-set comeback win in its past four matches.
Down two sets against No. 12 UC Santa Barbara (6-7, 3-7 MPSF), No. 8 Stanford men’s volleyball (8-4, 5-2) came back to earn its second-consecutive five-set match win, 23-25, 41-43, 26-24, 25-15, 15-10 in Maples Pavilion.
