The No. 9 ranked Cardinal men’s tennis team (4-1) took its first loss of the season this past Saturday to the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes (6-0) in a crushing 1-6 rout. The loss represented Stanford’s largest margin of loss since April 2016’s hammering by USC.
Stanford men’s volleyball (4-0) lit up Burnham Pavilion Saturday night as they rolled over No. 7 Ohio State (2-2) in 4 sets. The Buckeyes, who had given up only one set in the two schools’ last 3 meetings, are the first to fall in the 2019 Stanford Revenge Tour.
One quarter of the way through an eight-game home opener, No. 11 Stanford men’s volleyball (2-0)will face its first ranked threats, No. 14 Ball State and No. 7 Ohio State, tonight and Saturday, respectively.
