The regular season is underway for the No. 2 Stanford women’s soccer squad. The team is headed over to Milwaukee for two weekend matchups, the first against Marquette on Friday and the second against the University of Wisconsin on Sunday.
Stanford women’s soccer (4-0) has cruised through its first four matchups, climbing the rankings to take over the No. 2 spot and defeating No. 6 Florida (3-1) in overtime along the way. Veteran playmakers have returned in full force for the Cardinal, as the team features four of its top five goal scorers from last season. Senior goalkeeper Jane Campbell has already tallied 7 saves on the season and was tabbed Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for her outstanding performance against the Gators.
