On Friday, No. 1 Stanford women’s soccer (17-0-2, 10-0-1 Pac-12) defeated rival University of California (5-12-2, 1-9-1) 2-0 to secure the Pac-12 Conference Championship for the fourth consecutive year. To further cement their dominance in the conference, the Cardinal added another win on Sunday over Arizona State (10-7-1, 5-5-1), defeating the Sun Devils 4-1.
The No. 1 ranked Stanford women’s soccer team (15-0-2, Pac-12 8-0-1) traveled to Washington State (11-5-1, 4-5-1) yesterday to face the Cougars in a match that ended in a 1-1 double overtime draw. The Cardinal’s unbeaten streak marches on, now standing at 39 games since their last defeat. This tie, however, marks the end of their 26 game Pac-12 win streak, which dates back to October of 2016.
