Football predictions: Stanford vs. Cal

The Cardinal are favored around 16 points to beat the Bears and that sounds about right. At home, Stanford football has been dominant at home averaging 42.75 points per game and 294.75 rushing yards per game. The home win over No. 9 Washington was the Cardinal’s most impressive victory of the season as future Heisman runner-up Bryce Love rushed for 166 yards against the top-ranked defense in college. Stanford on the road has been suspect but Stanford at home should not be questioned.

Football roundtable: Will defense continue success against Beavers?

No. 20 Stanford football is on a four-game winning streak and leads the Pac-12 North. The Cardinal are coming off a bye-week and play Oregon State on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Corvallis, Oregon. The Daily’s King Jemison, Alejandro Salinas and Ariana Rollins discuss the Beavers’ running game, Bryce Love’s potential production and Oregon State’s coaching change.
