Three Stanford graduates named national finalists at the 41st Student Academy Awards

Last Friday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the winners of the 41st Student Academy Awards. Among the 15 winners were two recent Stanford M.F.A. graduates who have continued the Stanford film program’s tradition of excellence in this prestigious competition after a two-year lull.

Stanford led the pack at the Student Oscars with two winners, according to a press release from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Anthony Weeks and Theodore Rigby — both M.F.A students — were selected for the documentary category.
