The No. 7 Stanford men’s swimming and diving team (4-0, Pac-12 3-0) returns to the Farm with two more wins under their caps. On Friday, No. 15 University of Arizona (1-3, 0-3) fell to the Cardinal 178-115.
Stanford’s swimming and diving teams are set for a double-header this weekend in the Grand Canyon state. The No. 7 men’s team (2-0, Pac-12 1-0) and No. 3 women’s team (2-0, 2-0) will compete against Arizona this afternoon and Arizona State tomorrow.
Last Friday, the Stanford men’s swimming and diving team (2-0, Pac-12 1-0) steamrolled the University of the Pacific (UoP) (0-2) to the tune of 151-85. The eleventh-ranked Cardinal finished first and second in all 13 events.
After a long fall season filled with practices and invitationals, the Stanford men’s swimming and diving team will open their winter dual meet season this morning against the University of the Pacific.
Last weekend, eighth-ranked Stanford’s men’s swimming and diving team concluded a four-day invitational at University of Texas. The meet did not keep score, which gave coaches the freedom to test swimmers in different events. The Cardinal (1-0, Pac-12 1-0) left Texas with finalists who earned NCAA B-cuts in every event.
The men’s swimming and diving team are visiting the Lone Star State from today through Saturday for the University of Texas Swimming Invitational. The eighth-ranked Cardinal (1-0, Pac 12 1-0) will face stiff competition from five other schools including No. 7 USC and host No. 6 Texas, who is the four-time defending national champion.
On Saturday morning, the No. 5 men’s swimming and diving team (1-0, Pac-12 1-0) competed in their first invitational of the season at the University of the Pacific.
This weekend the men’s (1-0, 1-0 Pac-12) and women’s (1-0, 1-0) swim teams are gearing up for away meets. This Friday the women will face the Washington State Cougars (1-0) in Pullman, Washington. The following day the men will be swimming at an invitational meet in Stockton, California with the University of the Pacific.
