Thirteen vehicle burglaries were reported to the Stanford University Department of Public Safety between Thursday and Saturday night, the department announced in an AlertSU notification.

The incidents occurred in parking lots at 270 Galvez St. and 459 Lagunita Dr., and on the 300 block of Lomita Drive, according to the alert. One or more suspects broke windows of locked vehicles to gain access.

A witness identified a gray Infiniti G37 with tinted windows as a suspect vehicle in one incident.

The alert urges readers to call 9-1-1 if they observe suspicious behavior, including activated car alarms and people loitering near vehicles, trying their door handles and looking underneath or into them.
