Residential networks connected to upgraded backbone network
IT Services has started to connect all Stanford residential networks to a newly upgraded backbone network in an effort to reduce the possibility of network failures and Internet outages such as the one that affected residences across campus last month.

Private carriers to run Roble package center
The location of the package center has raised concerns for some students. Andrew Molina ’11, a resident assistant in Cedro, said the distance between Roble and East Campus might be a problem for some.
