Food truck management company Off the Grid has partnered with Stanford under the University’s new mobile food vendor policy to provide late night and lunchtime food truck options. The first late-night food trucks appeared on campus on Jan. 11 and 12.
The extra funding, which is in addition to money collected from team dues, fundraising revenue and Club Sports Council funding, will be put in place early this quarter.
Faculty Senate action on the Alternative Review Process (ARP) cannot be taken until the ASSU legislative bodies pass a bill on it, University officials confirmed Wednesday.
The ASSU Undergraduate Senate unanimously approved a total of $19,116.03 in funding for 11 student organizations during their Oct. 23 meeting, including $5,257 from the traditions fund for Stanford’s annual Mausoleum party.
ASSU senators discussed student life and academic affairs committee goals for the year, retroactively approved $500 in funding to the Class of 2013 for hosting the Row Tailgate on Sept. 27 and agreed to accelerate the timeline for discussing the Alternative Review Process (ARP) at the Oct. 9 Undergraduate Senate meeting.
Senator Ashley Harris ’15 has been absent from both of the Senate’s first on-campus meetings this year. Additionally, President Robbie Zimbroff ’12 and Vice President William Wagstaff ’12 were also absent, and thus unable to give an executive update.
After five weeks in office, ASSU President Robbie Zimbroff ’12 and Vice President William Wagstaff ’12 have yet to make cabinet staffing decisions. According to Zimbroff, the two have been working on completing administrative tasks and will begin tackling larger initiatives during the summer.
