Before last Sunday’s Oscars, I was super excited to see how Palo Alto native James Franco would do as co-host. Sure, Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes was probably the funniest/most painful hosting experience there’ll ever be, depending on how you saw it, but I had a feeling that James Franco’s turn might end up being even weirder.
Intermission is here to lend a consoling back rub to those sadly snubbed by Oscar with a coveted spot in our weekly Top 5.
Despite the earlier critical buzz surrounding “Black Swan” and “The Social Network,” which won Best Picture at the Golden Globes, it will be near impossible to stop the momentum of “The King’s Speech,” which recently swept the Producers, Directors and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Not to brag, but Intermission is notoriously spot-on with their Oscar predictions, so regardless of whether or not you have seen these movies, you can be almost certain who is going to take home those coveted gold statues.
As the 82nd Annual Academy Awards and its famous red carpet roll around this Sunday (March 7), Intermission has compiled some of the best and worst Oscar looks of the past several years to help give you some perspective when judging this year’s attire.
With the Oscars just a little more than a week away (March 7), it’s time for me to catch up on all of the critically acclaimed movies I failed to see in theaters.
