Sunday was a big day for Stanford’s big guys around the NFL. Coby Fleener ’11 caught four passes for 69 yards and a touchdown, Zach Ertz ’13 snagged two passes for 58 yards, Jim Dray ’10 grabbed five passes for 31 yards and Levine Toilolo ’13 recorded his first NFL reception for a 4-yard gain in an eventful week for former Stanford tight ends.
After watching Tiger’s press conference yesterday–when he finally seemed to be emerging from his shell and showing off the same smile that captivated audiences while he fist-pumped his way to victory after victory earlier in his career–I got to thinking: when will Stanford turn out the next superstar?
Just call him the Mile-High Messiah. The Big Tebowski. The Docile Apostle. Throw whichever moniker you prefer on him, but Denver Bronco quarterback Tim Tebow is serving up dinner at tables across America this week (in spirit, of course), and the main entree is a healthy helping of crow.
