After a difficult week filled with seemingly never-ending rain delays and a pair of shocking losses to weaker non-conference opponents, No. 15 Cardinal softball (29-16, 6-9 Pac-12) will look to rebound in this weekend’s three-game series against Utah (23-24-1, 6-12 Pac-12).
After shutting out Pacific (28-22, 12-6 Big West) in early March, No. 15 Stanford softball (29-16, 6-9 Pac-12) fell to Pacific 9-6 in Wednesday night’s midweek road game.
No. 15 Stanford softball certainly wasn’t expecting a loss on Wednesday night when it played host to Saint Mary’s, a team that had a 2-9 road record coming into the contest.
