Stanford men’s basketball received recognition Monday by the Pac 12 as juniors Dwight Powell and Josh Huestis receive All Pac 12 honors. Dwight Powell was a First Team selection and won Most Improved Player of the Year.
In a move that will likely end his collegiate career, junior guard Jeremy Green made himself eligible for the 2011 NBA Draft, according to head coach Johnny Dawkins. Green was the fifth-leading scorer in the Pac-10 last season with 16.7 points per game.
Stanford’s very own Jeremy Green declared for the NBA Draft yesterday. You remember him, right? He was Stanford’s leading scorer this past season, at one point scoring over 20 points in five straight games, all against conference opponents. He’s second in school history in three-pointers made and holds the single-season record for made triples.
