Cal men’s gymnastics
No. 4 Stanford will host No. 2 Michigan, No. 6 Cal and Washington’s club gymnastics team at Burnham Pavilion for Saturday’s Stanford Open, as the Cardinal will look to maintain the momentum it generated with two straight dual-meet victories against the Golden Bears to begin the season. Last weekend’s win extended Stanford’s win streak against its archrival to nine.
No. 3 Stanford men’s gymnastics, armed with the talent to compete for an NCAA title, begins its 2014 season Saturday at No. 7 Cal in Berkeley.
The Stanford men’s and women’s gymnastics teams both took to the mats this weekend, with the men at home, squaring off against rival California and the Japanese Collegiate All-Stars, and the women in Texas, facing Brown and the University of Bridgeport.
