M. Tennis: Streaking squad ready for Big Slam at Cal

Having concluded their home schedule Wednesday afternoon with an emphatic 7-0 victory over unranked Pacific, the No. 12 Stanford men’s tennis team will look to further build postseason momentum today as they travel to Berkeley for a rivalry matchup against No. 14 Cal. The match is the final test for the Cardinal (15-7, 4-2 Pac-12) before the inaugural Pac-12 Championship—which starts on April 25 in Ojai, Calif.—and will serve as a tie-breaker between Stanford and Cal (11-9, 4-2 Pac-12) in determining the tournament’s No. 3 seed.

W. Tennis: No. 5 Cardinal closes out regular season against Cal

The Stanford women’s tennis team will close out its regular season with a hugely important conference rematch against cross-bay rival California this weekend. The first matchup, which No. 5 Stanford (16-1, 7-1 Pac-12) won 5-2 in early March, did not count toward Pac-12 standings. With the conference title race completely up in the air after UCLA beat Stanford last weekend, No. 10 Cal (17-5, 8-1 Pac-12) will have the chance to avenge its loss and capture its own piece of the Pac-12 title.

M. Tennis: Rejuvenated Stanford set for Big Slam against Cal

The Stanford men’s tennis team plays host to its fiercest rival—the California Golden Bears—this Saturday afternoon at the Taube Family Tennis Center. The annual Big Slam is perennially one of the most highly anticipated matches on the Stanford tennis schedule, as these two storied programs have had many legendary clashes in the past.
