Stanford baseball routed Saint Mary’s 9-1 last night on the Farm to gain some crucial confidence heading in to this weekend’s do-or-die series against Arizona State in the desert.
The Cardinal (23-12, 9-6 Pac-12) travels to Eugene this weekend two and a half games behind the No. 7 Ducks (30-10, 13-5) in the conference standings.
The Cardinal lept out to a big lead early on against the Spartans last night, and never looked back as it routed San Jose State 17-2 at Sunken Diamond.
