The 13th Undergraduate Senate convened for its first meeting of the 2011-12 academic year Tuesday, confirming Adam Adler ’12 as its new Elections Commissioner and discussing several upcoming bills.
The ASSU Undergraduate Senate passed three bills Tuesday and discussed special fees.
At its second meeting of the quarter Tuesday, the ASSU Undergraduate Senate discussed reversing a special fees policy enacted by last year’s Senate. The Senate is set to vote on the special fees bill next week, along Constitutional Council and judicial panel pool nominees.
This week, the Appropriations Committee of the 12th Undergraduate Senate is proud to finalize and release the new General Fees policies for the 2010-2011 academic year.
The ASSU Undergraduate Senate adjourned Tuesday evening after approving funding for Full Moon on the Quad, discussing Nominations Commission openings and several bills on previous notice and passing the week’s funding bills.

The ASSU Undergraduate Senate is set to vote today on whether or not to dissolve the current Senate on May 11 and swear in the senators-elect, a move that usually happens in the fifth week of the quarter. The decision could be postponed another week in today’s meeting.
