After playing nearly flawless softball to sweep Utah over the weekend, No. 16 Stanford (32-17, 9-9 Pac-12) was unable to maintain its momentum, dropping its third straight non-conference game on Wednesday evening to UC-Davis (22-24, 8-10 Big West).

No. 15 Stanford will face Saint Mary’s at the Smith Family Stadium on campus tonight. The Card is on a run of good form, lead by senior Jenna Rich and Sophomore Cassandra Roulund
Stanford’s batting duo of Jenna Rich and Cassandra Rouland led the team to a 7-1 win over San Jose State on Wednesday, with Rich hitting two home runs and scoring three in total.
