The American Council of Education (ACE) has recommended that five courses on Coursera, an online learning platform founded by Stanford professors, become eligible for official college credit.
The grant will allow students to create a capstone project connecting all their academic and extracurricular Stanford experiences in one place, reflecting the Study of Undergraduate Education at Stanford’s (SUES) call for more integrative and interdisciplinary learning projects.
Greely is the latest recipient of the Lyman Award, a prestigious honor given in recognition of faculty service by the Stanford Alumni Association.
