Board of Palo Alto Unified School District

As of 2:30 a.m., the three leaders for the Palo Alto Unified School District are Melissa Baten Caswell (27.64 percent – 11,461 votes), Camille Townsend (26.26 percent – 10,891 votes) and Heidi Emberling (24.16 percent – 10,020 votes). Ken Dauber is trailing with 21.93 percent (9,096 votes), with 29 of 45 precincts reporting.

 

Santa Clara County Measure A

The measure would up the sales tax one-eighth of a percent for 10 years, from 8.375 percent to 8.5 percent, raising $50 million for the county, if approved with a “Yes” vote.

Santa Clara County Measure B

The measure would continue special parcel taxes within the Santa Clara Valley Water District’s combined Flood Control Zone for 15 years, if approved with a “Yes” vote.
