The six grants, which total $1.8 million, are set to fund projects on energy storage, fuel and solar cells, geothermal system modeling, water oxidation and carbon dioxide reduction.

Institute Director Franklin Orr ’69 said the projects, all led by Stanford faculty, were chosen for their potential to attract funding to add to Precourt’s grants.
