After dropping Sunday’s rubber match of a three-game series against reigning national champion Oregon State, Stanford baseball will resume its cross-peninsula rivalry with Santa Clara tonight at Sunken Diamond. The Cardinal, having fallen short against the Broncos twice to start the season, is looking for a pick-me-up, even if outside the conference.

Card shows elite prowess
In the days running up to the highly anticipated Pacific-10 Conference Championships, the Cardinal team had an action-packed weekend with two track meets — one across the Bay in Berkeley and one on its home turf at Cobb Track and Angell Field.

Card ready to defend title
In its last competition before this month’s NCAA Championships, Stanford women’s tennis didn’t capture any individual titles in singles or doubles action at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships in Ojai, Calif. Organized partly by Students Take Action Now: Darfur (STAND), the rally was one of dozens held across the nation to mark the fourth anniversary of the Darfur genocide, which has claimed about 400,000 lives and displaced more than [...]

The GSC has approved one legislative representative — applied physics student Dirk Englund — to lobby for tax cuts. Another representative, who would advocate reforming regulations governing international students, [...]
