Men’s tennis travels north, women to take on Cal

After fighting to a 4-3 victory over rival Cal on Saturday, No. 12 Stanford men’s tennis (14-5, 3-3 Pac-12) travels north this weekend to take on the Oregon Ducks (13-7, 1-5) on Friday before ending their tour of the Pacific Northwest against the Washington Huskies (6-15, 1-5) in Seattle on Sunday. The two matches will bring the regular season to a close for the Cardinal before the Pac-12 Championships begin on April 24 in Ojai, California.

Baseball looks for Pac-12 revenge with home series versus Washington

Looking to avenge one of just three Pac-12 series losses last season, No. 5 Stanford (21-5, 7-2 Pac-12) welcomes Washington (15-12, 5-7 Pac-12) to Sunken Diamond this weekend. The Huskies nearly swept the Cardinal a year ago to claim the Pac-12 crown in the season’s final weekend, but Stanford rallied with three runs in the ninth inning of the series finale.

Huskies continue to struggle against Stanford women’s basketball

Closing out the regular season, Stanford women’s basketball (25-4, 15-3 Pac-12) demolished Washington (9-20, 2-15 Pac-12) at Alaska Airlines Arena yesterday. To a silent crowd of 2760, the 72-53 result marked Stanford’s sixth consecutive win after losing horribly to the apparently indomitable No. 3 Oregon (27-3, 16-2 Pac-12). As the Cardinal head into the quarterfinals, this recent flurry of wins has placed the squad back at a desired tempo.

Men’s basketball drops one, wins one on Washington road trip

In their quest for a set of conference wins on the road, the Cardinal set out this past weekend to the Pacific Northwest for their first pair of showdowns against the Washington schools. After a disappointing performance against the Washington Huskies (14-4, 5-0) on Thursday, Stanford men’s basketball (9-9, 2-4 Pac-12) rebounded against the Washington State Cougars (8-10, 1-4) on Saturday for their second Pac-12 victory.
