The 2017 college football season is nearly upon us and Stanford special teams will see plenty of new faces and some returning ones, too. Stanford will have to replace special team savants Conrad Ukropina and Christian McCaffrey but coach Pete Alamar is up to the task.
It’s taken a diverse set of groups to vault Stanford into three of the past four Rose Bowls: the Tunnel Workers Union, the monster tight ends, the backfield partiers and, very quietly, the realtors.
In their final preview podcast of the preseason, KZSU play-by-play man Nicky Sullivan and Daily football analysts Vihan Lakshman and Do-Hyoung Park shared their takes on the newly released depth chart and broke down the team’s solid special teams group.
