Pulling back the curtain on roommate assignments

Roommate assignments are an important part of freshman year, but if you stopped a random student on the street, she probably wouldn’t be able to tell you who made her roommate assignment or how that person was selected for the job. With early action decisions released in December, some members of the incoming Class of 2019 are now embarking upon the Approaching Stanford process—including housing assignments.
