After a clutch 4-3 win by No. 3 Stanford women’s tennis (25-1, 10-0 Pac-12) in their final home match of the season against No. 14 Kansas (21-5, 7-2 Big 12), the team heads to the USTA National Campus in Orlando Florida for the quarterfinals NCAA Division 1 Women’s Tennis Championship.
A 20-match win streak ending with the NCAA banner held high is how Stanford women’s tennis will remember the 2017-2018 season. The team saw a tight 4-2 win on Monday in the semifinals against No. 3 Duke, with junior Caroline Lampl stepping up to the plate in a three-set victory that sent the team into the finals.
No. 5 Stanford men’s soccer (14-3-4) advanced to its second consecutive College Cup after defeating No.4 Louisville (14-6-2) 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lynn Stadium.
