Season-best team score places Stanford fifth at Pac-12 gymnastics conference championships

Stanford women’s gymnastics earned a season-high team score of 196.625 to win the first of two sessions at the Pac-12 Conference Championships at Maples Pavilion on Saturday. The Cardinal held off No. 16 Cal (196.300), Arizona (196.275) and Arizona State (195.600) in the afternoon session, ultimately finishing fifth at the championships behind No. 5 Utah (197.925), No. 10 Oregon State (197.400), No. 3 UCLA (197.100) and No. 15 Washington (197.100).

Women’s gymnastics prepares for Pac-12 championships at home

For the first time since 2009, Stanford women’s gymnastics (6-11) will play host to the Pac-12 Conference Championships. Stanford will be joined by No. 16 Cal (6-4), Arizona (6-7) and Arizona State (1-8) in the first of two sessions on Saturday at 1 p.m. No. 3 UCLA (9-2), No. 5 Utah (8-2), No. 10 Oregon State (9-2) and No. 15 Washington (6-8) will follow in session two at 6 p.m.
