After being derailed by a two week road trip, the Stanford men’s volleyball 2019 Revenge Tour is back in full swing. The No. 9 Cardinal (9-5, 2-2 MPSF) swept Concordia University (5-10, 1-2) in three sets on Saturday. The Eagles had dispatched the Cardinal in three sets almost exactly a year ago.
In a five-set thriller, No. 9 Stanford men’s volleyball (8-5, 1-2 MPSF) put down upstart No. 14 USC (7-5, 1-1). The Cardinal earned their first conference victory after falling to UCLA and Pepperdine last week.
No. 9 Stanford men’s volleyball will return home tonight to take on No. 14 University of Southern California in a game that comes on the heels of a four-game losing streak for the Cardinal.

Tonight No. 9 Stanford men’s volleyball (7-3, 0-0 MPSF) travels to Los Angeles to take on No. 4 University of California, Los Angeles (8-2, 0-0 MPSF) for both team’s first conference game of the season. The Cardinal enter the game on a two-game losing-streak after dropping a double-header in Hawaii and must bounce back quickly to remain relevant this season.
This past weekend, No. 9 Stanford men’s volleyball team (7-3) travelled across the Pacific for a double-header against No. 2 Hawaii (5-0). The Rainbow Warriors backed their ranking with their play, sweeping the ninth-ranked Cardinal in three sets on both Friday and Sunday night.
This weekend No. 8 Stanford men’s volleyball (7-1, 0-0 MPSF) will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against No. 2 Hawaii (3-0, 0-0 Big West) in a double header in Honolulu. The undefeated Rainbow Warriors will be the Cardinal’s toughest competition yet, and they showcase a stacked and experienced international roster.
