Last Saturday, amidst intermittent rain and cloudy skies, The Daily Californian defeated The Stanford Daily in the Ink Bowl for the third consecutive year, claiming the trophy, the title, and the glory by a final score of 28-14.
Stanford men’s volleyball (6-17, 3-7 MPSF) concluded their home matches for the season on a high note, claiming wins over No. 13 Grand Canyon (16-10, 3-7) and No. 14 Concordia (13-14, 4-7) on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Despite struggles throughout the season, the team’s spring break and seven-game homestand ended successfully, culminating in an impressive senior night victory.
No. 3 Stanford men’s volleyball (14-2, 12-2 MPSF) performed well on the road this weekend, sweeping UC San Diego (4-14, 0-13) on Thursday and No. 13 UC Irvine (4-11, 3-10) on Friday. The Cardinal have now recorded eight of their 14 victories on the season via set sweeps and have won seven in a row since a loss to then-No. 2 Long Beach State on Feb. 5.
