CAPS will receive four new clinicians in fall 2019 “to improve student access and reduce wait times,” Brubaker-Cole wrote, adding that the counseling center will change its “in-take process to prioritize timely in-person consultation with a CAPS clinician.”
On Wednesday, the Graduate Student Council (GSC) held a Mental Health Town Hall that addressed graduate student mental health and wellbeing on campus.
The event follows last week’s undergraduate town hall, which similarly brought together administrators and students to discuss mental health concerns and resources.
At its Wednesday meeting, the Graduate Student Council (GSC) discussed graduate student mental health initiatives, resources and policies. The Council also covered plans for an upcoming town hall meeting on mental health for graduate students.
The Graduate Student Council and the Stanford administration are working to fight social isolation for graduate students.
