On Tuesday at the Freeman Spogli Institute (FSI), Former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir Nicholas Clegg addressed the June 2016 referendum that initiated Britain’s exit from the European Union (EU).
“[Stanford] is the place that made nerd cool,” said President Barack Obama when he spoke at Stanford on Friday morning as part of the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). Obama highlighted diversity and accessibility in entrepreneurship in his address.
Following his speech, the president moderated a discussion with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and three young entrepreneurs from around the world.
In a special guest lecture at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) yesterday morning, Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius provided an overview of the Northern European country and touted its commitment to innovation and higher education, as well as its investment-friendly environment for foreign companies.
