If a student doesn’t have time to keep checking for open spots, the extension will do that for them. It also compiles each user’s schedule from AXESS and allows for it to be transferred to Google Calendar.
A new class schedule system, with earlier start times beginning at 8:30 a.m. and fewer overlapping courses, was approved by the Faculty Senate last year and implemented Monday on the first day of fall quarter.
Although the 15th Undergraduate Senate passed no official measures beyond the approval of two funding bills, their meeting Tuesday night revealed plans for the quarter and featured important updates from several senators, including updates about proposals for new class schedules.
Despite the proposal’s potentially large impact on students, few students have been afforded input to date.
