ASSU transparency: Establish transparent lines of communication between ASSU members and the wider community to ensure that student government initiatives are inclusive of people’s needs

Community centers: Prioritize community centers and advocate for increased funding and staffing for them; create a permanent space for the Diversity and First-Gen (DGen) Office

Diversity: Support better conversations about “class, privilege, gender identity, race and microaggressions” in student dorms

Housing and facilities: Create more housing and dining options for use over winter and spring break

Labor relations: Promote greater transparency about Stanford’s hiring and wage policies and work for subsidized housing for post-docs, workers and staff members

Mental health: Promote more accessible counselors and financial support for first-gen/low income students seeking mental health support and create a week-long reading period instead of Dead Week

Undocumented students: Support guaranteed internships and fellowships for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students; promote conversations about undocumented status; facilitate Know Your Rights workshops; protect undocumented students
