Women’s soccer dominates first four matches

Stanford women’s soccer (4-0) has cruised through its first four matchups, climbing the rankings to take over the No. 2 spot and defeating No. 6 Florida (3-1) in overtime along the way. Veteran playmakers have returned in full force for the Cardinal, as the team features four of its top five goal scorers from last season. Senior goalkeeper Jane Campbell has already tallied 7 saves on the season and was tabbed Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for her outstanding performance against the Gators.

Baseball takes two against UC Davis

Stanford baseball (27-21, 11-13 Pac-12) came away with two wins against UC Davis (16-31) today after they finished a suspended game from March 21 and won the scheduled game 3-1. Postseason hopes dim with series defeat in Utah

With the season winding down and the postseason approaching, Stanford baseball (25-21, 11-13 Pac-12) dropped a key series against Utah (20-25, 15-9) this weekend. Despite securing a win on Saturday, the Cardinal pitchers were unable to stymie the Utes’ hot bats and surrendered 19 runs across three games. After splitting the first two games, Stanford dropped the rubber match, resulting in its second-ever series loss to Utah.
