The No. 7 Stanford men’s swimming and diving team (4-0, Pac-12 3-0) returns to the Farm with two more wins under their caps. On Friday, No. 15 University of Arizona (1-3, 0-3) fell to the Cardinal 178-115.
Stanford men’s volleyball completes their eight game homestand with a pair of wins over No. 15 Purdue Fort Wayne (4-4). The eighth-ranked Cardinal (7-1) dragged themselves to the finish line Friday night in an unpleasant 3-1 win. The team made adjustments and came back Saturday night to a much more solid 3-0 victory.
Stanford’s swimming and diving teams are set for a double-header this weekend in the Grand Canyon state. The No. 7 men’s team (2-0, Pac-12 1-0) and No. 3 women’s team (2-0, 2-0) will compete against Arizona this afternoon and Arizona State tomorrow.
In an upset for the ages and the unquestioned game of the season thus far, No. 9 Stanford men’s volleyball (5-0) took down the second-ranked UC Irvine (5-1) in four sets. This victory marks the third consecutive ranked win for the team, and the Stanford Revenge Tour rolls onward.
Last Friday, the Stanford men’s swimming and diving team (2-0, Pac-12 1-0) steamrolled the University of the Pacific (UoP) (0-2) to the tune of 151-85. The eleventh-ranked Cardinal finished first and second in all 13 events.
Stanford men’s volleyball (4-0) lit up Burnham Pavilion Saturday night as they rolled over No. 7 Ohio State (2-2) in 4 sets. The Buckeyes, who had given up only one set in the two schools’ last 3 meetings, are the first to fall in the 2019 Stanford Revenge Tour.
A 3-0 sweep over No. 14 Ball State Cardinals (2-2) gives the No. 11 Stanford men’s volleyball team (3-0) its first ranked win of the year. The victory keeps the Cardinal undefeated, and marks the team’s third consecutive win against Ball State. The Cardinals fought to keep it close in the first set, but Stanford ran away with the match 25-22, 25-17, and 25-20.
After a long fall season filled with practices and invitationals, the Stanford men’s swimming and diving team will open their winter dual meet season this morning against the University of the Pacific.
