The No. 7 Cardinal continued to drop time at the Pac-12 Men’s Swimming Championship with the conclusion of the third day of competition. The Cardinal have held onto their second-place standing going into the final day of the championships.
Friday night saw the worst performance of the year from the No. 8 men’s volleyball team (12-7, 1-1 MPSF) as they were destroyed by top-ranked Long Beach State (16-0, 2-0 Big West) in three sets, 18-25, 13-25, 14-25.
The No.7 men’s swimming team is two days through the Pac-12 Men’s Swimming Championships. The days featured some strong swimming, including season-best times, but they were also plagued by Stanford’s inability to find the podium.
No. 13 beach volleyball (2-5, 2-0 Pac-12) opens its first home stand of the year with a full weekend.
Tonight is the start of the Men’s Swimming Pac-12 Championships. No. 7 Stanford (5-1, 4-1 Pac-12) will be competing at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington.
