Police Blotter: Assault, vandalism, vehicle burglaries

This report covers a selection of incidents from Feb. 17 to Feb. 23 as recorded in the Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin. 

Monday, Feb. 17

  • Between 9:22 and 11:15 a.m., a vehicle parked in the Track House Lot was burglarized. 
  • Between 12 and 12:40 p.m., there was a grand theft in Mirrielees.
  • Between 1:30 and 5:40 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Track House Lot was burglarized. 

Wednesday, Feb. 19

  • There was an assault to commit rape at an undisclosed time and place on campus. 

Friday, Feb. 21

  • At 12:46 a.m., someone was cited for driving without a license on Galvez Street near El Camino Real. 
  • Between 7 and 10:09 p.m., a vehicle parked near the Bing Concert Hall was burglarized.

Saturday, Feb. 22

  • At 1:54 a.m., there was an act of vandalism at the Lake House. 
  • Between 3 and 5 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Tresidder parking lot was burglarized. 
  • Between 2:30 and 5 p.m., a vehicle parked on Roth Way was burglarized. 
  • Between 3:30 and 5:36 p.m., a vehicle parked in the Tresidder parking lot was burglarized. 
  • At 11:55 p.m., someone was cited on Mayfield Ave for presenting a false ID to a police officer, being a minor in possession of alcohol and unlawfully littering. 

Sunday, Feb. 23

  • At 1:40 a.m., someone was cited for driving without a license on Campus Drive. 
  • At 12:05 a.m., there was an incident of vandalism at Lathrop Library. 
  • At 1:05 a.m., someone was cited for smoking marijuana in public near the Wilbur Field Garage.
