Police blotter: Jan. 30 – Feb. 5

This report covers a selection of incidents from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

  • Between 7:30 a.m., and 9:30 a.m., a car was broken into near the Rains Complex and items were stolen.
  • Between 11:00 a.m. and 12 p.m., a bike was stolen from outside the Vaden Health Center.

Wednesday, Jan. 31

  • Between 11:50 a.m. and 1:20 p.m., a bike was stolen from outside the Hastorf House in Escondido Village.
  • Between 4:30 and 5 p.m., a window of a car parked on Palm Drive was smashed.
  • At 9 p.m., bike parts were stolen from a bike near Lathrop Library.

Thursday, Feb. 1

  • Between 11 a.m. on Jan. 30 and 3 p.m. on Feb. 1, a bike was stolen from outside the Guinn Building.

Friday, Feb. 2

  • Between 7 p.m. on Jan. 31 and 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 2, bike parts were stolen from a bike parked outside the Meier Hall student residence.
  • At 11 p.m., a noise complaint was made about Slavianskii Dom House.

Saturday, Feb. 3

  • Between 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 3, a bike was stolen from Junipero Serra Blvd. near Stanford Ave.

Monday, Feb. 5

  • Between 12 and 12:10 p.m., electronics were stolen from a medical school office building.

There were no alcohol transports reported between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5 as recorded in the SUDPS bulletin.
