This report covers a selection of incidents from Dec. 2 to Jan. 5 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.

Wednesday, Dec. 2:

  • No incidents reported.

Thursday, Dec. 3:

  • An individual’s reportedly cable locked bike was stolen from the bike racks outside of Blackwelder Highrise Apartments at 7 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 4:

  • An individual was cited for being in possession of drug paraphernalia at the Lathrop Library at 7:30 a.m.

Saturday, Dec. 5:

  • An individual was arrested for public intoxication at the intersection of Campus Drive and O’Connor Avenue at 12:10 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 6:

  • Three minors were cited for being in possession of alcohol at Lake Lagunita at 12:10 a.m.  
  • An individual was arrested for being in possession of marijuana at the intersection of Page Mill Road and Hansen Way at 7:15 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 7:

  • An individual stole a reportedly U-locked bike from the bike rack outside of the Hewlett Teaching Center between 12 p.m. and 10 p.m.
  • It was reported to SUDPS that an unknown individual inscribed a phallic symbol on the carpet in the corridor of the first floor at Munger 4. The vandalism occurred between 10 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 6

Tuesday, Dec. 8:

  • Two individuals were arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest at Tressider Old Union at 3:25 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 9:

  • An individual’s reportedly cable locked bike was stolen from the bike rack at the Lockey Lab Building between 12 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • An individual filed a police report for a rape that occurred at Escondido Highrise Apartments on on Nov. 22

Thursday, Dec. 10:

  • An individual’s  reportedly locked bike was stolen from outside the Shriram Center between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 11:

  • Campus Safety Authority (CSA) informed SUDPS that a female student had reported that she was sexually assaulted on campus during the past academic year.

Saturday, Dec.12:

  • No incidents reported.

Sunday, Dec. 13:

  • No incidents reported.

Monday, Dec. 14:

  • An individual was arrested for being in possession of a knife, a meth pipe and a controlled substance at the Graduate School of Business at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 15:

  • No incidents reported.

Wednesday, Dec. 16:

  • An individual was arrested for being in possession of stolen bike lights and burglary tools at The Clark Center at 6 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 17:

  • An individual’s reportedly cable locked bike and bike stroller were stolen from outside of the Beckman Center between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 18:

  • No incidents reported.

Saturday, Dec. 19:

  • An individual was arrested for being in possession of marijuana at the intersection of Page Mill Road and Porter Drive at 11:25 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 20:

  • An unknown individual smashed the rear passenger window of a vehicle and stole valuables. The vehicle was parked on Stanford Avenue when the theft occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Monday, Dec. 21:

  • An unknown suspect spray painted graffiti near the main entrance to the Enchanted Broccoli Forest between 2:26 a.m. and 8:50 a.m.
  • An unknown individual spray painted graffiti near the drainage area adjacent to Narnia House between 2:34 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 22:

  • An individual’s reportedly locked bike was stolen from outside the Shriram Center between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 23:

  • No incidents reported.

Thursday, Dec.24:

  • An individual was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at the intersection of El Camino Real and Galvez Street at 11:53 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 25:

  • An individual was arrested for trespassing after climbing into a fenced in area and entering a university building at Foothills Dish at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 26:

  • No incidents reported.

Sunday, Dec. 27:

  • No incidents reported.

Monday, Dec. 28:

  • No incidents reported.

Tuesday, Dec. 29:

  • A van was stolen from the Stock Farm South Parking Lot between 12:40 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 30:

  • An individual was arrested for trespassing at the Bechtel International Center at 11:50 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 31:

  • An individual was arrested for trespassing after found sleeping in the Geology Corner of the Main Quad at 9:40 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 1:

  • No incidents reported.

Saturday, Jan. 2:

  • An unknown individual broke the window of a car and stole a purse. The car was parked outside of Nixon Elementary School when the theft occurred between 2:15 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.
  • An individual was cited for being in possession of marijuana at the intersection of El Camino Real and Sandhill Road at 11:55 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 3:

  • No incidents reported.

Monday, Jan. 4:

  • An unknown suspect stole a package left out on a porch for USPS to pickup in Escondido Village between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
  • An unknown suspect opened a package left on a porch and replaced its contents with a bag of rice. The incident occurred at Munger between 12:45 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 5:

  • An individual reported being poisoned. SUDPS is currently investigating the matter. The incident occurred at the Stanford Bookstore on Jan. 2 at 11 a.m.
  • An individual reported an incident of theft, fraud and extortion. The individual reported being befriended by the suspect and urged to pose nude via video chat. The victim says that the suspect recorded the video chat and threatened to post the video if the victim did not wire money to the suspect. The incident occurred at Lagunita Court between Dec. 19 and Dec. 28.

There were two alcohol transports reported between Dec. 2 and Jan. 5 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.
