KIPAC celebrates 10th anniversary | The Kavil Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) hosted an open house on March 24 at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory to commemorate the institute’s 10th anniversary, with over 350 guests in attendance. KIPAC scientists – who customarily focus on conducting research on particle astrophysics and cosmology – instead spent the day explaining their work to an audience of community members.

Hoover’s China exhibit wins award | An exhibit at the Hoover Institution Library and Archives marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese republic has been honored by the Association of College Research Libraries. The Association recognized “A Century of Change: China 1911-2011” – the content of which is available online – for “excellence in the publication of catalogs and brochures.”
