This report covers a selection of incidents from July 6 to July 12, as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.

A series of bike thefts and medical emergencies occurred during this period. Bike thefts occurred at the Abrams Midrise, the Rains Complex, the Sloan Math Center, the Hoskins Highrise, Studio 2, the Governor’s Corner Guest Suite and Angel Court.

Tuesday, July 6

Between 12 a.m. and 9:50 a.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s registration tab from his vehicle at Maples Pavilion.

Between 12 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke one of the windows in the victim’s vehicle at Parking Structure 6 and stole stereo equipment.

Wednesday, July 7

At 8:40 a.m., a golf cart that had previously been reported stolen was recovered on Galvez Mall — though there’s still no word on how the unknown suspect did on the back nine.

At 2:15 p.m., a non-injury, vehicle-vs.-vehicle collision occurred on the corner of Lomita Drive and Roth Way.

On July 7, the victim reported that she had been receiving strange e-mails, text messages and Facebook messages from another individual since May 9.

An individual reported that between July 4 and July 7, an unknown suspect defrauded him of his Apple iPhone, which he had listed for sale on Craigslist. The victim sent the iPhone to the suspect, but received no payment.

Thursday, July 8

A victim reported that he had left his backpack unattended in the Packard Building between 6:30 p.m. on July 5 and 7:30 a.m. on July 6, and found it missing upon returning to the building.

Friday, July 9

The victim reported that some time between June 1 and July 8, an unknown suspect entered their residence on Governor’s Avenue and stole personal property.

Saturday, July 10

At 4:10 p.m., the reporting party found a wallet containing currency on the Main Quad near Memorial Church and turned it in, while Jesus smiled.

Sunday, July 12

A victim reported that between July 9 and July 12, an unknown suspect stripped and stole the usable parts of their bike at the Quillen Highrise.

At 3 p.m., an individual was cited and released for misusing a disabled person’s placard at Parking Structure 2.
