On Thursday, the Stanford women’s basketball team released an iPhone app just before the Cardial left for San Antonio to play in the NCAA Final Four. It’s the first app of its kind to be built specifically for a women’s basketball team and it connects fans to news, videos, Coach Tara VanDerveer’s tweets and player blogs.

This app has been built well and makes it really easy for fans to keep up to date with all of the happenings of the team. If you’ve got an iPhone or iPod Touch, download the app and be sure to watch the Cardinal women continue on their quest for a championship today at 4 p.m.
