The No. 10 Stanford men’s volleyball team (12-7, 9-7 MPSF) made a statement this weekend in Southern California, knocking off two top-10 opponents in impressive performances. The Cardinal defeated No. 4 Pepperdine in four sets in Malibu on Friday and then went on to sweep No. 6 USC on Sunday for the team’s first win in the Galen Center since 2010. With the two wins, Stanford has returned to the middle of the MPSF standings heading into the final month of conference play.

No. 7 Stanford men’s volleyball (4-3, 1-3 MPSF) is finally returning home this weekend and will be welcoming Maples Pavilion and its undefeated home record with open arms. After a strenuous and disappointing two weeks on the road in which the Cardinal lost three very close matches, Stanford will face No. 6 Long Beach State (4-3, 3-3) on Friday and No. 13 Cal State Northridge (2-3, 2-2) on Saturday.
The Stanford men’s volleyball team was back on the road this weekend, taking on No. 14 UC Santa Barbara and No. 6 UCLA, two teams that it had defeated in its first meetings earlier in the season. This time around, though, No. 4 Stanford was swept in both games.
