On paper, the Stanford women’s water polo team may have been the strongest in college. Ever. Featuring players who have won the national title two years running and three gold-medal winning Olympians, expectations this year were huge.
With its 33rd straight win over rival Cal last Friday, the No. 1 Stanford women’s water polo team wrapped up its fourth straight undefeated Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) regular season. The Cardinal (26-1, 6-0 MPSF) now turns its attention to the MPSF Championship, which will take place this weekend in Berkeley.

The No. 2 Stanford women’s water polo team will be looking to take back the top ranking in both its conference and the nation when it matches up with No. 1 USC this Saturday in Los Angeles.
In the last regular season home game of her career, senior goalkeeper Kate Baldoni held No. 4 UCLA to just one goal as the No. 2 Stanford women’s water polo team (23-1, 4-0 MPSF) defeated the Bruins 8-1 in front of a large crowd at Avery Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon.
The No. 2 Stanford women’s water polo team will welcome No. 4 UCLA to the Avery Aquatic Center this Saturday for a match with heavy conference implications. Stanford’s senior class will also be recognized at the game.

The No. 2 Stanford women’s water polo team turned in a carbon copy of its first win over No. 10 San Jose State on Saturday afternoon, beating the Spartans by a 15-4 score for the second time this season.
