Students propose Muslim resource center
A proposal to establish a Muslim cultural resource center on campus has gained fresh attention in recent months, with a group of undergraduate and graduate students reviving a seven-year-old plan in meetings with senior University administrators.
Officials announce plan for sustainable future

Fadi Quran released, back home
Fadi Quran ‘10, a Palestinian-American Stanford alumnus arrested in Hebron, West Bank Friday, was released from Israeli custody Tuesday on a bail of 3,000 shekels. He is now home with his family, according to his sister Semma Qura’an, in a tweet to The Daily. Quran’s release came after he was refused bail during an initial trial on Monday.
ASSU Senators lobby for extended Green Library hours
ASSU Senator Daniel DeLong ’13 has been evaluating students’ desire for extended Green library hours since he was elected this past spring. With help from Deputy Chair Dan Ashton ’14 and several statisticians, DeLong said he hopes to accurately gauge students’ interest and lobby on their behalf.
