The 15th Undergraduate Senate picked up where it left off during its first meeting of the 2013-14 academic year eager to start implementing new ideas, including several new grants and funding opportunities.
The Stanford Chaparral, the campus humor magazine founded in 1899, has not received special fees from students for the past two years. While the group has benefited from alternative sources of funding, co-editor-in-chief Sam Coggeshall ’12 says the publication is expanding its services in an attempt to receive special fees funding this year.
Responding to the church’s plans, Hillel and the Jewish Student Association announced a peaceful “gathering for unity and diversity” to be held next Friday morning at 8 a.m. outside Hillel.
