Parents’ Weekend attracts record number of attendees

The May 19 Frost Revival show may demonstrate that events at Frost Amphitheater are more financially and logistically viable. The amphitheater, which used to host such acts as the Grateful Dead, has seen less frequent use over the last decade, largely because of the high cost to operate the venue.
Parents’ Weekend, an annual showcase for the parents of current undergraduates, brought more than 3,500 pre-registered family members to campus over the weekend. This attendance level represented a six percent increase from last year’s 3,300 attendees.
