Landauer to compete in CBS’ Survivor, Klein ’13 aspires to follow her example
Stanford’s Sept. 17 game at Arizona is set to be televised on ESPN at 7:45 p.m. and its Oct. 22 game versus Washington is scheduled to be on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 at 5 p.m. The following week, on Oct. 29, Stanford travels to Los Angeles for a much-anticipated game at USC, which ABC is scheduled to televise at 5 p.m. The last game that has already been assigned a TV slot is the Cardinal’s season finale, which comes at Stanford Stadium against Notre Dame on Nov. 26. Like the Washington game, Stanford’s matchup with Notre Dame will be broadcast on either ABC or one of the two main ESPN networks.
Though Matthew Perry is incontrovertibly the most prominent cast member of ABC’s new half-hour comedy “Mr. Sunshine,” I’m more interested in the path of actress Andrea Anders, who plays Perry’s love interest, the marketing director Alice.
The material, tangible conclusion of the series came off in as riveting and satisfying a fashion as any fan could have reasonably expected.
While NBC responded with a primetime spot for Jay Leno, the triumphant victors of this season were the irreverent comedies.
By definition, “Upfronts” week is when the major networks–ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS (whose new shows unfortunately will be announced after my deadline)–congregate to sell advertisers on their new fall shows with lots of four-minute clips.
