BUSINESS AND DESIGN INTERNSHIPS – Applications NOW OPEN!
The Stanford Daily business division is recruiting talented new members for our esteemed Business team. For years, the Business Division of the Daily has attracted competitive students who will drive revenue through selling and designing print, online and mobile advertisements. Past members have gone on to work at Target Corporation, Facebook, Google, Adobe and TIME Magazine. We’re looking to fill positions in both our Business and Design Internship Programs:
Business interns receive an intensive immersion into the world of advertising, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship as they are trained to fill the roles of Advertising Executives. They are given hands-on experience, work with departmental and local accounts, and ultimately gain a practical education in business and sales. In addition, these students are given access to training workshops with marketing consultants, receive direct mentoring from the COO and VP of Sales, and experience the rigor of a real company.
Design interns are given projects from the start—many local businesses trust Daily design interns to create dynamic graphics for their advertising campaigns. These students learn by doing, and sharpen their skills in useful programs like Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. They also learn valuable tools of the trade in a workshop series directed by the Daily’s very own Layout Manager, and get to see their work appear every day in the paper.
Send APPLICATIONS to email@example.com by October 7th at 11:59 p.m.
